Company SZMA has permanent close connections with specialized secondary and academies of Russia: Saint-Petersburg State technological Institute (Technical University), Plekhanov College of Mines (Technical University), Technological University of vegetative polymers, technical school of branch technologies, finance and law (former Minmontagespecstroj assembly technical school), Norilsk industrial institute, Cherepovetsk polytechnical institute, etc.

Many specialists of the Company have academic degrees. They have also passed training in the companies-suppliers of modern automatic control systems, program-technical complexes, SCADA-systems. Now they take an active part the training process (lecturing, practical training for the university students and the students of the extension courses) of the mentioned academies.

In May 2001 Company SZMA opened the Educational center for prompt training of new specialists, for retraining of its own personnel and customer liveware. Educational and experimental laboratory is provided with modern computers, programmable controllers, measuring instrument test benches, automatic facilities and power electrical equipment supplied by leading Russian and foreign companies, physical and mathematical models of different technological establishments.

Activities of the Company Educational Center:

• " education and training for the specialists of the departments of power electric equipment and automatic control systems for the customer enterprises on the basis of the educational and experimental laboratory of the Company.
• " selection of the operational staff on demand of the customer. The personnel of the Company also hold training of the customer specialists in course of starting up and adjustment work and follow-on. The personnel training is also available at the companies which supply automatic facilities, software products and power electric equipment.
